Absurd, isn't it?

Our current stance is that our utilisation currently falls under "fair use", because:

-Our providing of materials are only for the purpose of serving the needs of students of an academic program, the IB programme

-We use the materials for nonprofit purposes. While we accept monetary donations, these are intended only for covering running costs

-The nature of all materials is that they are all relevant to the IB academic programme and of educational worth.

-All materials are meant specifically for use with the IB academic programme, and not others

-Offering excerpts of these materials to the students is not sufficient for educational purposes and needs, as textbooks/past papers/lit-charts need to be utilised in their entirety.

-We do not believe that we are hurting the current market.
The majority of students of the IB Programme are not willing to purchase most of the materials that we provide.
Students are highly reluctant to purchase materials, and have already "shared" materials for a long time
Purchasing past papers would cost around 200 dollars per set, and textbooks are highly expensive.
Textbooks are often purchased by schools in bulk, and are then used for 5, 10, or even 20 years, leading to students having to use outdated and degraded materials.
If past papers are bought, it will likely be bought by a school, not an individual student.
We believe that even if we do this, schools, the principal buyers of these resources, will continue to buy textbooks and past papers as they've done in the past.

Legal Bullshit

It is our policy to copy a pre-existing DMCA notice guide from a popular site as a form of meta-humor.
